The regional transportation system of Gainesville will be changes in the RTS bus schedule services in spring 2014. The bus system will change the frequency and hours of service of some existing routes and adding three new routes. Chip Skinner, marketing and communications supervisor for ARTS , said that these improvements can help provide services to people in some areas. For example, Highway 24 RTS bus schedule, which goes to the Gainesville Job Corps Center in the north of Gainesville, will be easier to drive with a route of higher frequency.
Skinner said that buses use automatic passenger counters , also known as armored vehicles, to calculate the number of users. We have about 25 buses in our fleet that are equipped with them," he said. "We can put them on a route and get GAPS data bus from the time they were used , and only an infrared beam. Skinner told analysts use the data to RTS bus schedule determine the routes are used more or less often. Along with these lane changes , ARTS three new rows are added in the spring to help previously neglected areas : 38TH route 77 and 128.
He said the original route 38 people left behind, especially in Bertram apartments . That is why the 38TH was added to the RTS bus schedule schedule. "The ' T ' is pouring bus , so we can go to school and work ," said Skinner. Students will travel to Santa Fee 77 as Cabana Beach express route through Oaks Mall and I-75 in Santa Fee. Students of the University of Florida will now have a way to enjoy a weekend at the lake Hapsburg with the return of the 128. The 128 is the shuttle Hapsburg Lake, was asked by IF" students, said Skinner. "We had RTS bus schedule in the past, but had very limited passenger , he fell into oblivion. But we try again to see how it goes.
Joseph Trailing , a student at the University of Florida , was excited to hear about the changes. He says he feels the lack of transportation was the most important thing in the way of students trying to get Hapsburg lake, especially when they have a car. "This is the main reason why many children do not get there ," he said . "This is because it is kind of a RTS bus schedule pain to find a ride . 'Cause I know that's what happened to me. " Skinner said ARTS encourages constructive feedback from their riders, who are not involved in public meetings.
